Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production was The Snow Queen. She was then nominated as one of the Barrymore Award nominee for her character of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. Following her Broadway debut aged 15, she reprised this role and won a Drama League Award. Molly has also appeared in The Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a part in the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2008. In Religion. In the same time, she appeared in a film for the first time, Disney in the film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly has been in Off-Broadway shows, including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. In addition, she appeared in television series like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008 and Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she portrayed Anne. Molly's most well-known role was that of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), in which she portrays Ali the teenage daughter. She also starred in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and directed by Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
