Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to the family of South London. She has a mother who is English and her father is Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school including King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut came from that of the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the wake of that film's success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. In the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe starred in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was then cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that she would leave the show after her appearance on the premiere episode of the third season. She was Tituba in the series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he has also appeared alongside Madekwe in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was born into a huge family living in Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley did not have the ability to walk. She danced. So when she was 2 and a 1/2 when she was a little older, she was a part of Baby Ballet. It was then that she discovered Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley was a competitive dancer across all major divisions up until her graduation from high school. She competed in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, as well as acrobatics. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the distinction of "top soloist".
